Showcase Step 2: Quick text-density check (the part people ignore, then regret) Lots of rules text, multiple abilities, weird formatting Modern (or a clean Showcase) Medium text, normal creature/spell Modern, Vintage, or Showcase (pick vibe) Minimal text (lands, simple permanents, iconic splash cards) Full Art is safe and looks incredible Step 3: Are you printing a full deck or just a few cards
Too high and you fall behind
I love that it puts a +1/+1 counter on the creature directly and taps down a blocker each time the equipped creature attacks, so if youve got +1/+1 counter synergies or extra attacks, it will do a lot of work
Not only does this Summon create a 9/9, but it can remove permanents, trigger card draw, and use Mega Flare to essentially finish a game of Commander
Without the support of its peers, Thief is easily the weakest of the bunch for general Party decks
