Most companions are tuned to work well with their respective Doctor, but thanks to the Doctors companion ability that many of them share, you can mix and match them as partner commanders
This is absurdly strong, particularly with extra turns from Twice Upon a Time
Flareon would slowly disappear into the background for the next year of Standard, but would remain a snowballing force to be cognisant of if an Eevee was ever played down
Therefore, as Un -Rules Manager (with full blessing of the editing team),I'm officially changing Ordinary Pony's Oracle text to: When this creature enters the battlefield, you may exile target non-Horse creature you control that wasn't put onto the battlefield with this ability this turn, then return it to the battlefield under its owner's control
However, since all of their cards are cheap, aggro decks can hit the ground running and win the game before their opponent can even get started
The fact that the deck has several non-halfling creatures like elves, humans, and treefolk all works really well in my opinion
