Cloning other energy-using creatures may not produce the same impact as cloning the strongest ETB and static abilities in the format but they can generate bonus energy which helps you make more powerful tokens permanent

if that face-up monster would be used as Fusion Material this turn, it can be treated as an "Artmage" monster

The uncommons are pretty damn uncommon though
