Theres an argument for decreasing your total land count by one in most best-of-one formats, since the hand smoother evens out the odds of having a functional opening hand

Most decks do not use normal monsters, since they do nothing on their own, but they have some good support and are included in decks built around them
That is a huge drop in value for just one number, and depending on the collector, a 9 could be just as good as a 10
