Its fine to trim an Uro in matchups that force you to always hold open countermagic, like Ad Nauseam, and Hieroglyphic Illumination is a fine card to cut in matchups that arent grindy (though Id tend to try to cut other cards beforehand if possible)

Even if this creature dies, you can still get a good amount of value if it had counters on it

That said, Magic: The Gathering Prerelease events tend to be a bit more casual
